The Stony Wine Emporium launches September 2009 and is the creation of Simon & Caroline Stagnell.
Simon has enjoyed over 20 years in the wine trade, representing a vast range of wineries, estates &
icon producers. The passion, knowledge & experience gained over these years provided the inspiration
to open a new wine shop concept situated in the charming historic market town of
Stony Stratford in north Buckinghamshire.
We offer wine purchasing at all levels, from everyday drinking to premium estate wines.
There is always an opportunity to taste when you visit along with access to good advice and guidance.
The focus of our range centres on estate wines with an individual signature from the winemaker,
where provenance is the key. These wines are selected from across Europe and the New World,
where we have a particular passion for Italy, France and the best vineyards around the world.
When you come to see us we hope you can stay a while and try some of these wines with a bite to eat.
We offer some delicious anti pasti & cheese & meat platters to share, along with some tasty salads
and light lunches. Dining is casual with a good selection of wines available by the glass and all our wines can be
picked off the shelf with a small charge for corkage.
If you would like to get more involved, we offer a members club, tutored wine tastings,
food and wine pairing mixed boxes, producer presentations and a Wine & Dine service.
